Petrol Pump Ka scene.

I was busy with Pool table wid my colleagues.Surprisingly, got call from “Mallik Bhai” who informed me that Petrol prices are getting higher by 2 Rupees from 2morow.”Get your tank full” was his stern advice to me.Coincidently, my bike was also dry on petrol .But I was not in a mood to full my tank for saving Rs 2/litre.

I decided to get some fuel as anyway I had to dine outside. To my Surprise , anger and frustation, the Yerwada Petrol pump was crowded .I decided to go for SpeedPetrol which was available at KoregaonPetrolPump. The scene was much more vulgar outthere. They weren’t allowing biker’s to queue for petrol.Barricades of bamboo were laid to keep customer’s at bay.Out of two bunks , one was closed in the wee hrs i.e arnd 9. I understood the whole gameplan. The greed of the Bunk owner was shouting on all petrol thirst crowd.

In a nutshell..the Asshole’s who owns the Petrolbunk closed the shop arnd 9pm , so that all reserves could be sold tomorow morning at an additional profit of Rs 2/litre.
Rich bloodsuckers…

Words which needs to be added in the Oxford Dictionary.

Gajar (noun) : Ditch, false promises, taken for ride.
                           (usage: derogatory)

Sentences : “My Project Manager gave me a gajar of  Canada Onsite .”
Origin:Carrot called as( Gajar in Hindi) is used as a trap for catching rabbits.

Bamboo(noun) : Overworked, peer pressure of work, like balls on stove or
                                hammering of balls.
                               (usage: derogratory)
Sentences :a) “I got a big bamboo yesterday“, he expects me to deliver the code
                                 by this weekend.
b)How was the exam?”Bamboo lag gaya“.
Origin :Pain derived by inserting a  Bamboo Stick  in  one’s ass.

I keep hearing these words in the corridor , smoking zone and in lift lobby  and everywhere..It’s usage may be limited to the IT circle..
Just for your info… I got Gajar and bamboo both   😉

There’s are several other words which were invented and used only in my lasson , Pok , dhimpartipar , vatren , zhinga etc ..these words which seems meaningless are very much meaningful and they convey the right message beautifully..  😆

Valentine Day

Love was in the air..  In da offcie ppl were dressed RED & Pink. Entrance were decorated with red balloons. Some desk’s were wid flowers and other’s with cards.I don’t want to sound stereotypical by uttering this boring sentence” Every day is a valentnie day…wat’s so special 2day? one can celebrate it any time and day they want”.
But, I do believe that its just another day like other days. The question for me was if anyone was about to gift their dear ones something special, wud valentine day be the apt day to gift?
For me, I think anyother day will be a bigger surprise for the gal/boy.Just imagine, if we gift our parents, teachers on any random day..that would be lot more fun and exciting ,rather than being obedient and gifting only on the so called Teacher/Parent/Mother/Sister Days.

I don’t mean celebrating Diwali  in April and Christmas in August,as these festivals are something related to cosmic timings and close to religion. I will categorise all above mentioned days as Social Days (Parents, mother’s,father’s,valentine etc.)Social days can never be limited to  fixed day and timing for celebrations.Social Days are for someone very special and personal and therefore doesn’t need any predecided day for celebrations.

It’s for the people to decide how they weigh these days in their calendar’s.

Misconceptions of Guys about Girls….

Filed under: Fun, India, jokes, my views — Tags: — nitin @ 1:57 pm

This stuff is a tribute to all single boys and gals who have been involved in the vicious circle of “Friendship”. One will get a better idea about gals and their behaviour to their male pals..(Its 100% truth – ISO20000 certified)

(Its from my archive mails…. )

Girls’ relationship with guys is a bigger mystery than girls themselves. It’s not just about boyfriends, we’re talking about guy friends that gals have.

Do you have a gal who is just a friend? Are confused why the frequency of calls increases as exams loom closer? Or why she always hangs around with the moron who isn’t fit to wear Jeetendra’s white shoes? Here’s a ready reckoner for you:

Just a friend

Well, you are like a show piece in my house. I will call you whenever I need you. If you call me home the chances are 9 out of 10 times she might say, “Oh Rahul, I am going out can you call me after 2 days??”

Rahul: “Where are you going Shilpa??”

Shilpa: “None of your business” and bangs the phone.(Useless fellow.Hmmph!).

Good Friend

You are like a TV remote control. I need you and I know that. But I try using you when I really need you.

Rahul calls: “Hi Shilpa”,

Shilpa: “Hi Rahul. I am going out with family I will call you back. Bye”

(Shilpa calls back after two days)

Shilpa: “What do you want Rahul? Why did you call that day?”.

Rahul: “Generally”.

Shilpa: “Oh ok. I got to go out. Will call you later. Bye.”

Will call when she needs lecture notes or some concert tickets.

Very good friend

Well you are like the pressure cooker safety value for the girl.

She will need you when she wants to bring out her pain or anger on someone.

Basically, she wants to talk to you. And you are special to her.

Shilpa: “You know Rahul, Shekhar is not eating. He doesn’t sleep and is not able to concentrate on his studies. I think he doesn’t like me anymore.

And yesterday I saw him with another girl”.

Rahul: “Who is Shekhar??”

Shilpa : “My boyfriend.”

Rahul: Oh! ok. 😦

Best Friend

You are like the auto rickshaw driver. She can’t live without you.

And don’t be mistaken. You are not her boyfriend. But you are allowed to take her little doggie around the park so that he (not you!) can have fun .

Rahul Shopping. Rahul Movie. Rahul Coffee. Rahul, you pay. I am having fun.

Rahul is now sure that he should go ahead and propose. He dares.

Shilpa: “But I thought we were just friends.

We should remain friends

Rahul. Plus, I have a boy friend you know that.”

Rahul: What?? (Rahul drinks all night).

Best of the Bestest Friends

Ok now you are really special. You are

Ultimately you are the darling servant of the girl. You take her around. You make her project.

You do her assignments. You are allowed to take her doggie around. You can hold hands on the beach.

You can see the sun set with her (because she wants to do everything she drags you along). But but but… don’t be mistaken. She has a boyfriend who works for a huge software company and earns 3 times the salary you earn and has a flat in PoesGardenor Boat Club or Hiranandani area.

Shilpa: “Hi Rahul. I am getting engaged to Shekhar.

Shekhar this is Rahul,he is my bestest friend”.

Rahul: Hi Shekhar . (Hand shake. Shekhar breaks Rahul’s wrist).

Rahul is now heart broken and wrist broken.

Uh… No comments dude. You’re already Gone

For all Rahul type guys… Make sure that you tell Shilpa about Mamta. And about Maya… and about Tina also…

This will open Shilpa’s eyes!!!!

Customer Service in a pune restaurant

This Story was sometime back in pune at Koregaon park. There’s a restaurant called “Prems” known for his ambience, simple look and good tasty food.It was not my first time either ,so as usual we occupied a seat in the corner..yeah just two of us 🙂
The speciality of this place is “Candle Light Dinner”. when the sun sets in east the candles make’s the sene at Prems. We kept waiting for couple of minutes for any of waiters attention. They were dressed in nice blackie stuff from head to toe.But not to my horror ,no was noticing us or to be frank ,maybe ignoring us or else they forgot their job.Just after we occupied our seats one “John Couple”( its my way of saying “Firangis” ) made their way to tables 2 rows across ,diagonally opposite to me.
It was past 8-10 minutes..i was still waiting for atleast a glass of water if not the menu card. Also calling “waiters” by doing SSSSHHHH SSSSSHHH is not cool these days after that “Sanju’s munnabhai scene”.God damn, i was about to shout “are you got blind?”
Forget me, John’s table was still dark without a lighted candle..I considered my self lucky. But somehow I was getting restless from inside. The scene of John couple waiting for over 10 minutes without a lighted candle on their table somehow made me feel uncomfortable..kind of ashamed ..The guests from the WEST cudn’t ask for more..I could sense their frustation ,they still hiding it with a plastic smile moving neck round 360 degrees , just to get the candle lighted.

Finally , he showered mercy on me and took my order for one Chicken gravy and four Tandooori rotis all at once as we wanted to finish as soon as possible.Again , after a break of 18-19 minutes our Gravy item comes with 2 rotis. It took me just 3 minutes before I was hungry for one more roti..but our Waiter was invisible now..It was really diffcult to spot him in dimlight of soft candles..I stood up searching for him..I sit down again..Yeah ..i spotted him..I am glaring at him so that he can understand that am asking for him..some hsssing soundss..argggggggg..bastard!!!!

He was attending other customers , then again went inside kitchen..5 minutes past..again he comes out widout my rotis ,completely ignoring me and moving to next table and taking new order.
Now i barked..”Roti kab laega?”.
Waiter:”5 min”. Without any hint of regret for serving us badly.Com-mon the gravy was about to freeze in pune’schilling weather..and this guy was roaming in paris ,london and forgot India..The John finally got his table lighted up..yeah after 15 minutes that too without a glass of water.

Finally he brought the missing rotis..I ordered him for a rice plate..again same story of ignorance , of waiting for lifetime..Each minute was like an hour during that time..We felt that we are at his mercy for the food. The rice again took 10 -12 more it was the time for making bill..again 10+ more minutes, inspite of me asking to return soon…I was really pissed off..I wanted to piss at him but then thought of catching hold of some manager or his boss ..Cudn’t find anyone as it was near closing time ..The bill counter was also missing which was noticed only on that day..they got the bills cleared from the kitchen i think..  🙂 .I swore that I wud think 1000 times before visiting this place again.
But, it’s always the food which brings me back..but the service SUCKS big time..The pathetic service of this restaurant is well known now, but still the business is cool. Why?because we are not the “Ideal Customers”.

The managment or their bosses should note that their ppl are not doing good service .And not only “Prems”.. Customer service is neglected in many well known places like RiverView and Chutneys etc.Once the business is established ..they don’t bother to maintain the same level of service  forever.Even quality gets degraded as time passes..I have heard”Hotel Blue Nile ” serves some very good Non-Veg stuff..I think that was history but people still believe it and crowd the place..

Any intellectual or a logical business man should never forget this simple funda of maintaing Quality and service for retaining Customers which eventually pays in superior profits.
Coming back to Ideal customers,We need to ask for things we need.”The customer is King” is not an Indian philosophy ,it emerged in the WEST in the face of rising ,booming Consumerism Economy. We need to imbibe this concept in our brains .Customer’s too should opt to blacklist such places or raise their voices by complaining and giving sincere feedback on payment counters or personally to the attendees.Guys..common behave like a king ..wat’s the harm?

Our problem is we are too shy for saying “NO” on face. Also , we should stop paying tips when not required..i knw its kinda difficult task for regualr TIP givers, but ask the question to the Customer inside you…were you really satisfied by the serivce??.no no… not the food but the service. You have paid for the food..and tips goes for the service right? If answer is No to first question, then don’t be ashamed of leaving the bill widout a Tip..These days , I exit from the restuarant with full confidence without putting a TIP.If the waiter comes before you leave..tell him…I didn’t like your service..He may take that thing “DIL PE”.Put the seeds of competition between waiters.Lets be more harsh on Tips.If every other customer behaves like a king..I bet these guys will be on their toes..and we will get wat we need and what we need is Value for time and money. So its a demand and supply concept after all..some are intelligent enough to understand the demand and make the supply voluntarily..some are forced to the supply because of rising demands…this sounds logical to me atleast..

I want consumer India who fear no one ,ready to screw up the service providers for any lousy treatment or if  taken for granted. The same funda applies for your Quench for better administration..better democracy and to stop corruption.
Lets Raise voice !!!

Benazir Bhutto is killed

Is it shocking?

No way..she was going to get killed anyhow?dont you knw? How dare she challenge the Extreimist that too in pakistan..Bcos in pakistan, there is no value for human life.

Suicide bomber’s are available like cracker’s during Diwali.Just pickup an idiot ..give him holy lessons and he will be ready to torch himself and along wid him some 20 -25 ppl….No protection to common man as such.

She(Bhutto) felt, she writes in her book, no fear of violence — not because of the presence of the police and army, but because of the sheltering presence of the crowd itself. ‘Though I was totally exposed on the truck,’ Bhutto wrote, ‘I felt no danger. Only someone who was willing to be torn apart by the crowd could harm me. There was no threat either from the police or the army. Overwhelmed by the crowds, some of our former enemies stayed behind the locked gates of their barracks, while many others came out to join in the celebration.’

But maam ..that was 1986 when you returned like a Queen..This is 2007 are now trying to act like a free bird in Pakistan where there are big hunters with sniper’s…What you think of pakistan?A bird sanctuary?

You thought if one attempt fails..there won’t be another? Why you challenged the already challenged “Merchant of Deaths”..You were better in a good life with all those money which you made in your tenure.

“Woh kehte hain na jab gheedhad ki maut aati hain woh sahar ke tarf bhagta hain”.. May be she lost her mind. For hell sake why you wanted to be a superwomen..trying to change the face of pakistan .You insisted that the weight of whole pakistan be put on your shoulders..But you failed miserably..It’s not that I love terrorist..But understand this..Pakistan is not a a place where people live in harmony..killing ,bombing .. beheading,strike,curfew.. military goondagiri is a everyday chores .

I remember those days when everyday..there were news of ppl getting killed in the valley(Jammu)..Got used to such news and my presumption is that even Newsbroker are bored enough of reporting the same stuff about violence in that part of the country.

She was shot with a sniper with the bullet piercing through her neck, then our bomber man wanted to confirm her death and so blew himself up.Body parts were thrown across the blast site. One channel found the head of the bomber lying 70 feet from the site of the blast.
Earlier also her convoy was attacked where 180 were dead.Even now another 30-40 are queuing for Heaven/Hell without a ticket.

Does anybody care? Its too late now..A state which perpretated Terrorism is now itself on the mercy of terrorist .”What you sow is what you Reap” ain’ t it right?
US is  having nightmares because of Osama..So Mush still time is there..Join hands to curb terorism.May her soul rest in peace.. Nawaz Sharif is on the list???no-no..Musharraf is the hot target now..Lets wait and see..

I am worried about common man like you and me in that country..what’s there fault? Being a citizen of such a nation not only brings shame ..but also repercussions of a failed state.

Life god fate and me

Filed under: India, my views — Tags: — nitin @ 7:02 pm

Sometimes i really try to brainstorm about who we are,why are we living on this planet about re-incarnation,about soul and heaven-hell and all such stupid things.Trying to find answers of such complex questions is really the mission of life for some researchers..But trying to question everything is not the perorgative of only reasearchers.. 🙂

coming back..I really wonder about the word called “naseeb”(fate).
What is Fate?Fate of a person means that every period of life of a person is pre-decided or is going to happen in future at any cost.Fate is the order of the supreme power “god” written or decided for every human.
which means if everything is predecided then why should we worry about our future? Finally no matter wat we do..Everything is going to happen as per the plan chalk out by the supreme power. Is there a chance of any modification to one’s fate?If every actions performed by us are actually been predefined by means god is running our life like a puppet.

So any action performed by us is by the will of the god like murdering, rape, bank loot, massacre…because it was bound to happen.Any murderer can claim that he is innocent ,as its not his fault or his was the will of the god.But someone can argue that if god is there then devil should also be there. But if we punish a human for his deed are we punishing the devil inside him?Because then we make third assumption about human soul as a separate entity which can  be controlled by both God or Devil.
So finally its our soul which bears the brunt of acts done by god/devil.

People say god is omnipresent..then why cant it stop child abuses, bombblast in its own place of worship like temples or mosques?

If we die wat happens to us?our life? our so called soul?
When some one dies we the living ones can presume about where the deadmans soul is heading for?bcos we can never have a clue about wat happens after death. But then why do we try to do things which will land us somewhere about which we dont know if anyone’s been there.Even if we assume that life exists even after death..then too how can we be sure to look back at our life after our death?

Either god has ownership of everything we see around us living or non living or it’s playing a partial role.

Assumption 1:God has ownership of everything we see around us living or non living.

why did god created 1000 of species from small micro-organisms to the Blue Whale. wat’s his purpose in providing oxygen on earth atmosphere or are we customized to breath oxygen ?
Why only earth has life …If god wants he cud have created life on more than one planet..and if we be lucky..why not our neighbouring can he control the life of all living creature on planet earth?

Assumption 2:God has a partial role to play.
If such were the case then we have darwin’s and many other theories about evolution, inception of universe which can be considered credible enough to an extent. But wat if someone argues like god just created initially and then left all otherthings on themselves.Means partial support to ones life.Partial role in the universe. He doesn’t cares about the no of trees,grass,insects,animals..but only about humans.

I have talked a lot..i knw too much of stress can result in such kind of thinking..I need a break!!!

Third Division merits a cry

The following post is not to justify reservation or start a debate again  but its kind of a counter argument and some  cynical facts ; just to share some knowledge with you guys.

Lets start with a real story.

It was around 1856 when the Madras College came into being. But, from the start, it faced a peculiar problem – the college building had come up with all other infrastructural facilities, and professors from England, but not enough students to make the college viable.
India has a big pool of historians who know every detail of the modern history, and many have mastered even the world history. What they know not, or don’t like to know, is the story of the College, and the history of modern education. They took no pains in explaining as why the College had shortage of students, and how that problem was to be resolved. They would also not tell as to when, why and for whom was Third Class considered as pass.
Till the Madras college came into being some where in 1850s, the pass marks required at Intermediate level was a minimum of 40 per cent, and First and Second were the only divisions.
On the insistence of the Indians (read Brahmans), the pass percentage requirement was brought down to 33 per cent, and Third Division introduced. The College soon got enough students to justify its existence. By all accounts, this was the first victory the merit lobby had won in the past one millennium. We can understand, and sympathise with them.
As said by an author:

“While I have begun my research in procuring those crucial documents from archives, the Report of the Indian Universities Commission (1902) gives an idea. While discussing the results of the Matriculation examination for the year 1901, the report (page 45) says: “We were told that at Calcutta 1,400 more candidates would have failed had the standard in English been 40 percent of the marks instead of 33 per cent.”
Many a merit theorists cite failure rate of Dalit/Adivasi students at Medical/Engineering/Management Colleges, which is often less than a percent, as a reason to scrap reservations.
The meritorious historians however, would not tell the failure rate of their own people. According to Progress of Education in India (1922-1927), Vol. 1, Page 40, the failure rate of students in MBBS stood at 47 per cent, and in Engineering, at 34 per cent.
They would also not tell us as how during 1860s’, their ancestors were afraid of taking science and mathematics as subjects of studies, and were in fact, bribed to study sciences and medicine. Despite huge failure rates, the British government continued promoting science education amongst them.
Despite being victims of social segregation, and economic deprivation, and as the newest entrant in the world of learning, Dalit/Adivasis never demanded bringing down pass marks to, say, 20 per cent?
Did Dalits/Adivasis demand adding a Fourth division?
Or, did Dalits/Adivasis demand any reservation in examination for getting degrees?
What all Dalits have insisted is reservation during admissions, and many of them do better than those students who had higher percentage of marks at the time of admissions.what difference it would make between 70 per cent and 90 per cent at plus two level, or similar situation in an entrance test.
Can any one say with certainty that the 70 per cent mark sheet holder is superior to the 50 per cent mark sheet holder in intelligence?
Can any one say with certainty that those who pass with first class are necessarily better than the second class degree holders at work places?
So in short when  our grandparents(not dalits) were struggling from maths and science and were getting passed  with atleast 33 percent and they made up build the nation (note the dalits were out of sight)the britisher’s no matter wat gave them education and brought them up. So can one say why did they struggled?Bco’s if u pull out a child from slum and start teaching him maths and science ,IN GENERAL he will struggle and not score 90% or so.So u r grandparents struggled so u r comfortable now.

Modern Indian Architecture

Architecture is the barometer for Grandeur, Pride, Advancement for all civilization, countries and culture right from from the Egyptian, European, Chinese, Greek and Indus Valley Civilization.

India has some of the finest Architectural/Carving wonders as old as 500 BC.No one can question the Dome of great Taj Mahal, the ever standing pillar of Qutub Minar, the Ajanta and Ellora Carvings of Buddha,Innumerable Temples with finest pieces of carving work, natural paintings etc.

When thinking of Old India;it mesmerizes my mind thinking of the passion people had for such great human made structures. Many great palaces, monuments of worship of every religion and faith are still standing with dignity.some have wilted against the power of sun, wind and the great monsoon but other’s still standing; speaking proudly of its era..its importance at that time and showing the world of the power of kings and queens at those time, about the culture and the artisrty of its people. The magestic skills of hundreds of craftsmen working 2gether and making something possible to admire,to fall in love with, giving us some of the finest piece of arts in the whole world.
Now it is time for the Modern India which is marching forward confidently in spite of knowing its problems of a Rich-Poor divide. What the modern India needs is building’s which can raise the morale and dignity of a well developed nation which is technically advanced  and which should blend  with the cultural landscapes of India.

But I can see a big void out there. Can anyone count me the modern marvells of India?.All we can spot is glass clad buildings of software Industry.Infosys and Wipro has taken a stride ahead to show the world ,their power by trying to build something big and modern.Still am not satisfied with the passion people /government officials/bureaucrats/ have for modern architecture and Mega Structures.

No one wants to give India a WORLD TRADE CENTER, PERTONAS TOWER or a BURZ AL ARAB  etc needs to mention many more great pieces of work.

Check out the greats buildings of all time out here..Should we only count on our rich past and its  structures and style. Why can’t modern India build something which shows our power and our ability to the world. If we are ahead in space , nuclear energy, automobiles then why can’t we give our people some classic ..some great Mega Structure to be proud off?.During my visit to Nashik last year..i fell in love with human made marvells made of stone and granite.Nashik has some very old and beautiful temples.I liked especially KALA RAM GORA RAM temple.Cant wait to visit AJANTA AND ELLORA soon.

I am really passionate about Buildings and Mega Structures.Whenever I encounter any episode of MEGA STRUCTURES on NATGEO ..i feel why can’t India decide on making something as big ,huge and technology wise the first to implement a great piece of architecture marvell.where are our architects ? where can they show their skill?

Modern India is pathetic in terms of city planning.During british tenure we were gifted with some great buildings located at South Mumbai. The CST and Churchgate Station being  two of them to mention.During that period there was no need to build such huge Stations considering the population of mumbai ,still they(britishers) made it so large keeping foresight in consideration and now we are reaping its benefits 2day.Is there any station both in central and western railways made by Independent India as huge as them?Every Railway station in mumbai suburbs have choked platform bridges. Some so narrow that it takes 15 minutes to cross one bridge.Modern India has failed pathetically in basic Infrastructure and its quality. It cannot be ignored. This shows our degraded behaviour, our lack of liking for  quality, our meagre expectations. Finally wat we expect is wat we get.

Why should China,Malayasia,Japan,US, Europe have all the fun with skyscrapers?

Blogs are getting blocked

This is a terrible news for me and for all those people who’s company’s internet usage policy is so damn strict that even blogs are Blocked from intranet access.

Currently Blogspot is blocked; Wordpress Blogs are working fine thou.

Anoop, its good that you sitched to i can check your blog.Tell srini to move too.

The earlier restriction to Public-emailing sites, chatting domains, Online-gaming and Social Networking and Personal sites was considered acceptable, but bringing blogs under the scanner is really bit harsh.
No one can waste so much time in blogging or surfing if they are kept busy during officie hrs.Its only those benchers or lucky souls who inspite of being assigned to project ; those who are free can find time to browse through blogs and spread their word and why not?.

Well as of now, WordPress isn’t blocked; but soon it will also come under the microscope of the IT Security Guys here , then how will i maintain / update my blog? I dont have a connection at my room. The bandwidth available in the company is lightening fast and surely the best use of the resource allowing quick browsing thru comments and updating ourselves about the latest post from fellow bloggers/friends.

My question is why not Ban all Trading Sites too.Well its just out of frustation (even i dont want them banned)..Infact, I wud love to have access to everything..but yeah..i agree its not possible and feasible. My colleagues are heavily using the Trading sites to make profits and to keep their money growing. If spending time to manage your portfolio is OK ,then why not blogs?Bcos even PM’s(project Managers) and SPM’s(Senior Project Manager) do the same dabbling in the Market all day.
Myself, having a small blog is denied access; forget that i even make any profit out of it.Not fair huh?

Lets hope that the day is too far when eventually wordpress will get blocked.

JAB WE MET – Tab I Cry

Jab we Cry
It gives me immense pleasure to share my views or rather frustation after watching “JAB WE MEET” movie…
Third class movie hain…I swear..cant say mat dekho..bcos sabne dekhi hogi..

Iss movie ko 4 kya ,main to ek rating bhi nahi dunga…

I literally wasted my 3hrs + brks in between for brushing my teeth..taking bath..break fast.. on a Diwali day…
wat is so wrong wid everyone? wat’s so grt about this movie?

There’s no grt emotional rosy romantic big drama. It doesn’t has anything to offer…its just like any other obvious love-story..

One Rich boy and One hyper active…they travel 2gether(PYAR TO HONA HE THA starring Ajay devgan& kajol)..end main love traingle..(KUCH KUCH HOTA HAIN..) yaad nahi hain kya public ko?

And again the craze with a punjabi family..and their weddings.

In Bollywood , Directors/Producers/writers (are in love wid punjabis) can only think of a plot wid Punjabi family style..Every movie  is composed of only Punjabi Family..with great grandparents, and a big joint family. All healthy ,wealthy and big hearted….Is it that only punjabi families has all fun and grt marriages?

There’s no identity to Indian family on screen  apart from giving a punjabi look and their traditional and super duper fatty marriages..?Or is this just to WOO the NRI’s in the west..Their’s a big market overseas mind you..

Karan johar ke sade hue movies waha pe kafi chalte hain..bcos woh NRI’s ko emotionally leta giving them memories about the sweet punjab and their traditions..

I accept that punjabis are really different and they have  great culture.. NO DOUBT .But viewing the same stuffs like punjabi dances & marriages in every movie by karan Johar..and other’s are making me feel all such film monotonous widout any creativity…

Lets come to the movie..The character played by Kareena can never be related wid real-life..Extra extrovert, still traditional and ready to fix up and run after an unknown stranger… ,blabbering her autobiography , kissing, hugging all free of cost..widout any efforts being put by Shahid to woo her.. are Bhatinda girls really so crazy that they hook up wid any stranger  in real life..(sorry am getting carried away)..
Finally the plot of the two meeting up was totally undigestable.

This movie was just some ordinary love story or a bhelpuri of all other love-stories ; which we have seen 300 times…
The story is so obvious ;If she loves another guy…The third guy  will  make appearance after interval..(same thing happened wid KKHH)..then love triangle..and then the dilemma to go  with which boyfriend.idhar -udhar and finally landing up wid the hero(Shahid)…wat the crap..

The only thing i liked is Kareena Kapoor and her Patiala..she looks grt.. 🙂

It’s sad that even critics have given this movie **** .or I am the only Sucker who didn’t like this movie even for a free download…???

Our Health conscious India (Beer Vs Country/IMFL liquor)

 One joke…to start with..

Some usual phrases/dialogues which people mutter after they get drunk..

Are tuje to chad gayi..(you got high 2day)
“agar chadani nahi hoti to peeta he kyo?”

Aaj gaddi/bike main chalaunga..(2day i will ride the car/bike)
“tremendous confidence”

Tu mera sabse accha dost hain…(you are my best friend)
“Right time to show friendship”

Main kisi se nahi darta..(i dont fear anyone)
“Bold and Beautiful”

Aaj tuje meri baat sunni he padegi..(I will have the final word)
“Autocracy starts…”

coming back..i wanna share my thinking of how people, youngsters switch from Beers to Hard liquor.
An excise department circular of April 13 says that “the duty on mild beer has been increased to Rs 15 per bulk litre or 100 per cent of the manufacturing cost, whichever is higher. Previously, it was Rs 12 per bulk litre or 75 per cent of the manufacturing cost.

The Beer consumption in Maharashtra is about 160 lakh (12-bottle) cases with Mumbai accounting for 40 per cent of beer sales in the State.

As you may be knowing ,people drink to get High..It usually starts with a beer for a college going youth/Men. Initially 1 Bottle/Glass is enough to get him High..slowly his capacity increases. Now he needs 2 bottles and then finally he won’t budge even after having 2 bottles of beer.

Then his clever mind thinks, why am i wasting 300 rupees on 2 beer bottles which don’t give me the kick.Instead i will go for a hard liquor which can easily charge me up in just 2 pegs.Well a very practical solution for keeping the expenses short..considering Hard liquor is cheaply priced  than a Beer.So such tendency starts the journey of switching from  Beer to Country/IMFL liquor(Indian Manufactured Foreign Liquor).

Wat’s the government role in this whole transition of a Beer drinker to a Hard Drinker?

You may think, its a personal decision of the subject, but bro…all decisions are based on some enivironment/ surroundings..and government has the charge of this decision making factors and surroundings.

As per the  statistics ,Govn thinks beer is still the choice of the riches and the affluents..and therefore they are exhorbitantly charged.Youths,IT public, knowing the ill effects of hard drinks still prefer Beers paying heavily.

Why are they pricing Beer so heavily even if their alcohol contents are marginal ? A hard drink instead has 80 % more alcohol. So health wise drinking beer is less harmful compared to Hard Drinks.

In western nations people prefer mild and soft beers,Lagers and therefore its cheap out there.Suppose the govn makes Liquor highly priced and beer cheap..then ppl will find beer more viable as a drinking option concerning health hazards of hard drinks.

Interestingly, Indian’s preferred strong beer, unlike their counterparts elsewhere, and it accounted for more than 70 per cent of the total volume in the country.Which means this 70 percent ppl will soon opt for hard drinks in the near future,as they are cheap and effective. So clearly ..its the government policy which is driving this stream by pricing such products just to make profits and keeping the health concerns of the state at stake.
I may not be updated but some states have taken this problem in to consideration and wine rates has been slashed.

So why not price Hard Liquor heavily and subsidise Beers.?
